I think the prices are redicolously cheap!!! A docter only gets  $61.00 now they get like $1,800.00!! that is a differce! K.G.

Yes, M.B. I do think Mary Alice was right when she said grandma was a bad in fluence.  I think she was right because grandma snuck under a fence to go fishing.D.C.

I do not like Grandma's  character because 1. She dinks beer  2. She's a prankster  3. She's bad inflence and she scares me because she had coffin in her house. L.H.

3.  During their visit in 1931, Joey and Mary Alice realize that Grandma Dowdel runs illegal fish traps. Why is it important to have hunting and fishing laws? What department in state government is responsible for monitoring such laws?

Well, Grandma is the kind of person that does what she wants to do.  She really doesn't mind the laws and she won't listen to anyone who she doesn't want to listen to.  So I don't really like her character at all. N.H.

We have hunting and fish laws because if we hunted and fished all the time, there would not be any animals left! N.H.

During the Deppression, the prices did not cost as much as they do now.  Back then you could buy plenty of things with only what is a little money today and it is the opposite now. N.H.

It is very inportant to have hunting and fishing laws because if their wasn't any their wouldn't be any more animals to hunt or fish! C.F.
